Thursday -Arrive a the horse park at about 3:30 pm. Go directly to the Elizabeth G. booth and drop entire Rolex budget in about 15 minutes.

Quotes of the evening:
"don't sit in the wet spot"
"Teresa's been in KY for less than a day and her truck's already up on blocks"
"Tammy needs an inflatable what?"
"Her battery is dead?"
"Tara, you don't have to be able to swim to get into the hot tub"

Friday night we headed over to the horsepark campground for the picnic. It was super....tons of people were there...we told many awful stories and hits of th e evening were: Matt's sweatshirt and Lyndall's grab on Koala Bears.

Quotes of the day....
"you have to grab it by the fuzzy part by it's legs and squeeze"
"the fat white pony is coming"
"I'm shaving my legs"
"Pardon me, do you have any Grey Poupon?"
and, Tara actually made it into the hot tub!

Tammy called us that evening from the campsite stating something about her battery was dead and she needed one of the "men" to go get a new air mattress since hers died the night before and Teressa Winning's truck/camper was up on blocks. Of course we were curious how a dead battery and a dead mattress happened, and we figured Teressa had put her truck up on blocks because she was in Kentucky and wanted to be like all other Kentuckians :-)

Saturday started cold and cloudy but by mid-day was clear and warm. Got my first burn of the season (keep forgetting about the southern sun). Met a group of great FOL'ers at the Lexington Bank -- they had set up a sort of bar and had a great location to watch the Lexington Bank action. Matt and I kept each other apprised of what we would consider the best picture spots all along the course -- we will just have to see who got the best pictures and angles.

We kept wondering why everyone we met who knew Matt (and that seemed to be EVERYONE) were trying to go the opposite direction when we came to them

Is one of the Rolex Web Site pictures actually a shot of Tim Pointing of Canada hugging an unknown woman? If so, nice international relations.
