I was told that it would be hard to find a better picture of Crossbo and me than this one. I had to agree that it really does a good job of capturing the essence of us, but ....
It would be tough to beat this one for sheer radiant beauty, at least on Crossbo's part. Kudos to Jim Lane for his expert job of capturing the light.
Once again, Crossbo saves my ass. As we were galloping along this trail, I was dealing with the trauma of losing my flask contents due to a lost cap. As I was distracted by that, and my head narrowly missed colliding with a branch, suddenly "Ahhh shit, there's another jump, Ahhh SHIT there's a photographer". And, as he has done before, Crossbo deftly got us over the jump and missed the photographer.
Not much to say here ... just poetry in motion.
